Gareth Lucking - Chief Engineer
Strangepop is positioned to work with a selection of freelance recording, mixing & mastering engineers. Overseeing Studio Operations is our Chief Engineer Gareth Lucking. We have worked closely with him since 2000 and with good reason. Gareth is a fully qualified Apple technician with a lifetime's experience in computing and a major player in audio engineering. He has years of experience in working on SSL, MCi, Soundtracs, Soundcraft consoles and virtually every conceivable outboard studio kit ever made.
He has worked in countless recording venues including Red Bus Studios and Marcus Studios where he rose to Chief Audio Engineer responsible for handling all the major's sessions.
Past clients include, Boy George, Engelbert Humperdinck, Mica Paris, Charlie Rapino, Genaside, MC Saatchi, C J Lewis, Kelle L Rok and many more.
